Vaginal Rejuvenation

Vaginal Rejuvenation is the most common cosmetic gynecology procedure requested by our patients. Women generally seek vaginal rejuvenation for two reasons:

  • To resolve the symptoms related to pelvic relaxation.
  • To enhance or improve sexual function

ThermiVA™, the newest technology, expands the options women have for vulvar and vaginal rejuvenation. The ThermiVa RadioFrequency machine tightens the vagina and vulvar skin without cutting or anesthesia. It can also treat mild urinary incontinence, vaginal dryness and painful intercourse due to menopause. See if ThermiVA may be right for you.

Labia surgery, known as labiaplasty, is designed to reduce the size of the labia minora (smaller, inner vaginal lips). It is very important to choose a labiaplasty surgeon who is experienced and specializes in this procedure. Dr. Troy Robbin Hailparn has received specialized training in this area and has performed nearly 800 labiaplasties since being trained in 2003. She also offers labia majora reduction and reconstruction.

The O-Shot, a new noninvasive treatment, aims to alleviate female sexual dysfunction by extracting PRP, or platelet-rich plasma, from a woman's own blood and injecting it directly into the vaginal area. The O-Shot is also effective in treating stress urinary incontinence, vaginal dryness, and a condition called Lichen Sclerosus.

Some women are interested in hymenoplasty, reconstruction of the hymen. At the Cosmetic Gynecology Center of San Antonio (formally Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute™ of San Antonio), Dr. Troy Robbin Hailparn has been trained in hymen reconstruction and is an hymenoplasty surgeon. She received specialty training in 2003 in hymen reconstruction and laser hymenoplasty. We know that having cosmetic gynecology surgery is a very private decision.
